Our Pastors & Staff

At this time, Love MCC doesn’t have a full-time pastor on staff. Rev. Wanda Floyd, who is serving as an interim, has been ministering to Love MCC since 2023. She was appointed by our denomination, to serve our congregation.

Interim Pastor

Rev. Wanda Floyd has over 20 years’ experience which reflects a balanced approach to healthy church life, coupled with a Master’s of Divinity degree. Strong and proven track record in church work through excellent performance as a lay minister, pastoral leader, associate pastor and full-time pastor. Experience working with church leaders, membership, and community organizations to promote Jesus Christ in the world, while leading the church through effective communication and engagement.

Rev. David Gillentine has been a member of MCC for over forty-five years, starting in Sacramento, CA in 1973. He has been in MCC Ministry for over forty-two years. Before coming to MCC in Las Vegas, he was an MCC pastor in Stockton, Fresno and Pomona Valley. David has been with his beloved husband, Dwayne, for over twenty-eight years, and they live with their sweet Chihuahua, Bambi. He is passionate about MCC, about ministry, about creativity and about the All-Inclusive Love of Christ Jesus. It is his love to preach the Gospel.

Rev David has been in Las Vegas as our associate pastor since 1997, celebrating over 25 years continuous ministry in our church.

Laurence has played piano for MCC for over 15 years and he is an accomplished musician playing professionally for many Las Vegas strip performers and shows. He is masterful in his accompaniment of our worship experience and a joy to have on our staff. He directs both our choir and worship singers, along with our 3-piece worship band.

Jonathan Jimenez, Worship Leader

Jonathan joined our worship team recently in 2024 and has been a blessing in leading our worship singers and congregation in song. Jonathan attended Love MCC when we met at our Almond Tree location and sang with the worship team at that time. He moved from California to Las Vegas, where he started his journey in Vegas as a Gondolier at the Venetian Hotel, but is better known in Vegas as a dance and fitness instructor. He also was previously the worship director at NW Community church and First Christian Church in Bellflower, California. He recently performed at the Composer Room Tavern where he packed the house and is excited to continue his musical talents with the Love MCC praise team.
